Dry Needling

Acupuncture and dry needling are forms of treatment where very fine acupuncture needles are inserted into the tissues (pierce the skin) in order to create neurophysiological reactions in the body and stimulate a healing effect.

Hydrotherapy

Exercising on land not for you? Let’s hit the water! Hydrotherapy is perfect for unloading arthritic joints, restoring range of motion and strengthening in a less-than-gravity environment. Our therapists can show you exercises to suit your body and perform extra treatment techniques not possible in the clinic. Our paediatric patients love the water, many find the experience calming and relaxing, while others burn off energy before going home.

We offer one-on-one hydrotherapy sessions at Toukley Aquatic Centre, Peninsula Leisure Centre, Woy Woy and other locations by request.

Home Visits

No transport? No worries! We’ll come to you. See, we believe all Australians deserve access to the best healthcare so our therapists will come to your home to provide the same excellent service that you would receive in our clinic.

All funding accepted.

Bra & Breast Form Fitting

It can be hard to find the right undergarments, especially for those who have had breast cancer treatment, breast augmentation, implants or women with genetically large/dense breasts. Our bra sizes range from 10A-26F and come in everyday styles as well as dramatic styles for when you need a little ‘bling’.

Our trained staff can also match you up with a breast form after mastectomy or lumpectomy or for anyone that needs a little evening up.

At Physio For You, we want you to look as good as you feel… you deserve it.

Exercise Physiology

Exercise Physiologists are experts at all things exercise. They help improve patients’ quality of life whether that be through assisting people to better manage chronic health conditions, recover from injury or simply for the purpose of wellbeing.

EP’s develop tailored and appropriate rehabilitation programs for those that have suffered musculoskeletal injuries to help strengthen the impacted area as well as to help patients improve functional ability and injury prevention.

Remedial Massage

Remedial massage is a deep massage performed by a trained massage therapist, to create the conditions for the body’s return to normal health after injury or with musculoskeletal disorders. It is used to treat chronic musculoskeletal imbalances, strains, sprains, bruising or any injury where the skin is intact.

Deep tissue massage removes blockages, damaged cells, scar tissue and adhesions left after injury, speeds up recovery and encourages more complete healing. Remedial massage is also used for conditions created by lifestyle, such as repetitive strain injury and back pain. It is designed to increase the flow of blood and lymph, particularly in the injured areas.
