Dorothy joined the Physio for You team in February 2024. Dorothy treats Lymphoedema and Musculoskeletal conditions at our Woy Woy clinic. She graduated from University of British Columbia in 2016 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology, and in 2020 from Macquarie University with a Doctor in Physiotherapy.
Dorothy has gained experienced in private practice, orthopaedics, paediatrics, geriatrics, and community health. She has worked with Mount Wilga Rehabilitation Hospital, Mater Hospital and Macquarie University Lymphoedema clinic and in the community for post-surgical and conservative lymphoedema management.
Dorothy’s main passion is treating Lymphoedema, which mostly comes secondary to conditions including:
Breast cancer related Lymphoedema
Lymphoedema secondary to medical or neurological conditions
Chronic venous insufficiencies, aging, immobility
She is qualified in fitting compression garments for upper and lower limbs, including measuring for custom-made garments for complex cases. She helps patients with government funded compression garments including: EnableNSW, DVA, NDIS
Dorothy can treat musculoskeletal clients under Medicare, Worker’s Compensation, CTP, NDIS, DVA and patients with Private Health Insurance.
